Indication
Deafnesstinnitus，headachetoothache，mumps，jaw arthritis，facial paralysis，laugh muscle paralysis，hyperthyroidism，facial paralysis； spasm disease，mad disease ，chest pain. Wind problems deriving from internal or external sources, Bell’s palsy. Ear problems, tinnitus, deafness, acute earache GVe to wind cold.
Combinations
Tinnitus，deafness：TE 17 & SI 19 & GB 02
facial paralysis：TE 17 & ST 04 & ST 06 & GB 14 & ST 01.
Swollen cheek：TE 17 & ST 07 & ST 06 & LI 04.
Deafness with qi stagnation：TE 17 & GB 02.
Sudden hoarse，loss voice：TE 17 & HT 05.
Acute mumps：TE 17 & ST 06 & LI 04.
Nuchal lymphoid tuberculosis：TE 17 & TE 10 & GB 41.
穴位
在耳垂後方，當乳突與下頜角之間的凹陷處。
特點
屬手少陽三焦經，交會穴，通足少陽。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
耳大神經，面神經幹，耳後動、靜脈，頸外靜脈。
適應症
耳聾耳鳴，頭痛牙痛，腮腺炎，下頜關節炎，口眼喎斜，笑肌麻痹，甲狀腺腫，面神經麻痹； 痙病，狂疾，膈肌痙攣。
