On the posterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, approximately 1 cun inferior to GB12, on a line drawn between BL10 and SI17.

Indication
Headachedizziness，eyes painfacial swelling，sudden deafnesstinnitus，neuritis optica，nosebleedacute pharyngitis；stiff neck and shoulder back spasm，Lymphoid tuberculosisdreaminess. Tong CV/Tam Healing System: Used to effect the circulation within the occipital artery and the vertebral artery. Useful for occipital issues, glaucoma, etc. Falls into the category of Window of the Sky points within the Tam Healing system.
Good for lymphadenopathy.
Combinations
Muscle spasms of neck：TE 16 & EX-HN15 & SI 03.
Eyes pain：TE 16 & BL 01 & LR 03.
Sudden deafness：TE 16 & GB 02 & TE 09.
facial swelling：TE 16 & BL 45 & GB 20.
