Nerves, vascular
The lateral cutaneous branch of the fourth intercostal nerve, the branches of the lateral thoracic artery and vein, the artery and vein of the chest and abdominal wall, and the fourth intercostal artery and vein.
Indication
Good for breast disorders.
Bronchitis，pneumonia，pleurisy，intercostal nerve pain，hepatitis，ascites，urinary retention. Promotes smooth spleen qi (digestion), moves water stagnation – fullness of the chest and/or lateral costal region, abdominal distention perhaps with water swelling, belching, vomiting after eating, boborygmus.
Combinations
Sternocostal swell and pain a：SP 17 & CV 17.
Sternocostal swell and pain b：SP 17 & BL 17 & TE 08.
穴位
在胸外側部，當第４肋間隙，前正中線旁開6寸處。或乳中旁開2寸處(3指橫寬)

布有第四肋間神經外側皮支，胸外側動、靜脈分支，胸腹壁動、靜脈及第四肋間動、靜脈。
適應症
胸痛，咳嗽，氣喘，痰多，乳汁少，乳癰；肺炎，支氣管炎，哮喘，胸膜炎；肋間神經痛。
