LOCATION
In the region of scapula, on the medial end of the suprascapular fossa, midpoint of the line between Naoshu (SI 10) and the spinous process of 2nd thoracic vertebra.

Nerves, vascular
The lateral branch and accessory nerve of the posterior branch of the second thoracic nerve, the muscular branch of the suprascapular nerve, the transverse cervical artery and the descending venous branch, and the muscular branch of the suprascapular artery and vein.
Indication
Tendinitis of supraspinatus muscle，shoulder soft tissue disease，difficulty breathing. Local point for shoulder and/or scapular region pain, weakness and/or stiffness. Useful for chronic shoulder problems.
Combinations
Shoulder pain：SI 13 & GV 14.
Subscapularis nerve pain：SI 13 & TE 13 & SI 11 & LI 15.
Tendinitis of supraspinatus muscle：SI 13 & LI 14 & GB 34. ( sick side)
穴位
在肩胛部，岡上窩內側端，當臑俞與第2胸椎棘突連線的中點處。
特點

穴區神經血管
第二胸神經後支的外側支及副神經，肩胛上神經肌支，頸橫動、靜脈降支，肩胛上動、靜脈肌支。
適應症
岡上肌腱炎，肩關節周圍軟組織疾病，呼吸困難等。
