Body Inches (cun)

One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.

The tenth intercostal nerve, the muscular branch of the artery and vein under the abdominal wall.
Indication
Irregular menstruation，oophoritis，salpingitis； testitis，enteritis，abdominal pain，constipation，lumbago，conjunctivitis. KI 11, KI 12, KI 13, KI 14 & KI 15 all intersect the Chong Mai and are useful as local points for abdominal a/or gynecological issues.
Combinations
Constipation：KI 15 & BL 38.
Abdominal pain，constipation：KI 15 & TE 06 & ST 36.
Irregular menstruation：KI 15 & BL 32 & SP 06.
穴位
在下腹部，當臍中下1寸，前正中線旁開0.5寸。
特點
交會穴，通衝脈。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
第十肋間神經，腹壁下動、靜脈的肌支。
適應症
月經不調，卵巢炎，輸卵管炎；睾丸炎，腸炎，腹痛，便秘，腰痛，結膜炎。
穴位配伍療法
少腹熱、大便堅：1.中注 2.浮郄
腹痛，大便秘結：1.中注 2.支溝 3.足三里
月經不調：1.中注 2.次髎 3.三陰交
