LOCATION
On the palmer aspect of forearm, on the radial border of the tendon of flexor carpi ulnaris, 1.5 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist.

Body Inches (cun)

Nerves, vascular
The medial cutaneous nerve of the forearm, the ulnar nerve on the ulnar side, and the ulnar artery.
Indication
Endocarditis，anginapectoris；hysteria，insomnia，schizophCVia，elbow pain or numbness；acute hyoid muscle paralysis or atrophy. Sudden loss of voice. Restless Zang Disorder (fluctuating emotions, mania, depression, anxiety, insomnia), various emotional disturbances. Chest pain that perhaps worsens with emotional distress. Local point for pain in the elbow and/or arm.
Combinations
Arm pain，numbness of the fingers，arthritis：HT 04 & TE 05.
Spasm of the elbow：HT 04 & LU 05 & HT 03.
Stiff tongue，sudden loss of voice，hysteria：HT 04 & CV 23.
Palpitations，heartache：HT 04 & PC 04.
Sudden hoarse，loss voice，lockjaw：HT 04 & CV 22 & SI 16.
穴位
在前臂掌側，當尺側腕屈肌腱的橈側緣，腕橫紋上1.5寸。
特點
經（金）穴。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
前臂內側皮神經，尺側為尺神經，及尺動脈。
適應症
心內膜炎，心絞痛；癔病，失眠，精神分裂症，失語，肘關節神經麻痺或疼痛；急性舌骨肌麻痺或萎縮。
