LOCATION
On the back, level with the lower border of the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra, 3 cun lateral to the posterior midline.
Features
Body Inches (cun)
Each person has his/her own personal body inches.
One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.
Nerves, vascular
The inner and outer cutaneous branches of the posterior branches of the second and third thoracic nerves, and the descending branch of the transverse carotid artery.
Indication
Cold，bronchitis，asthma，tuberculosis，atelectasis；pleurisy，intercostal nerve pain，shoulder and arm pain，numbnes. Reinforce the Lung Shu (UB 13) for Lung related disorders: cough, asthma, etc. Effect the psycho-emotional aspects of the Lung meridian. Drain heat from the Lung.
Combinations
Cough and panting，asthma：BL 42 & BL 13 & LU 06.
Chills and fever ， cough with dyspnea，retched：GB 21 & BL 42.
Running piglet ：LU 01 BL 42.
穴位
在背部，當第3胸椎棘突下，旁開3寸。
特點
《靈樞‧本神》：「肺藏氣，氣舍魄」「并精而出入者謂之魄」。戶，門戶。穴在肺俞之外旁，故名。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
第二、三胸神經後支的內、外側皮支，頸橫動脈降支。
適應症
感冒，支氣管炎，哮喘，肺結核，肺不張；胸膜炎，肋間神經痛，肩背上臂部疼痛或麻木。

肺寒熱、呼吸不得臥、咳逆上氣、嘔沫喘氣相追逐：1.中府 2.魄戶
