LOCATION
On the lateral side of the foot, posterior and inferior to the external malleolus, directly below Kunlun (BL 60), lateral to the canthus at the junction of the red and white skin.
Features
Meeting point or Yangqiao Vessel and Bladder Meridian.
Body Inches (cun)
Each person has his/her own personal body inches.
One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.
Nerves, vascular
The lateral branch of the calcaneus of the sural nerve and the lateral branch of the calcaneus of the peroneal arteries and veins.
Indication
Calcaneus pain，knee arthritis，paralysis of the lower limbs；urethritis，epilepsy，nosebleed.
Combinations
Muscle cramp：ST 41 & GB 40 & BL 61 & GB 44 & BL 67.
Calcaneus pain：BL 61 & GB 34 & BL 57.
Bipedal tingling：KI 03 & BL 61 & ST 44.
Epilepsy，syncope：BL 61 & GV 26 & EX-UE11.
穴位
在足外側部，外踝後下方，崑崙直下，跟骨外側，赤白肉際處。
特點
交會穴，通陽蹻脈。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
腓腸神經跟骨外側支和腓動、靜脈跟骨外側支。
適應症
足跟痛，膝關節炎，下肢癱瘓；尿道炎，癲癇，鼻出血。
