On the lateral aspect of the hip joint, at the midpoint of a line drawn between the anterior superior iliac spine and the prominence of the greater trochanter.

Indication
Appendicitis，stomach pain，lower abdominal pain； testitis，nephritis，cystitis；irregular menstruation，uterus meningitis，leukorrhea；lumbago，leg pain，hip joint and soft tissue disorders. Hip pain, especially with pain radiating from the hips, sciatica. Shoulder pain, using the opposite joints needling method.

Lumbocrural pain：GB 29 & GB 30 & BL 23 & BL 40.
Hernia：GB 29 & LR 01 & CV 03.

在髖部，當髂前上棘與股骨大轉子最凸點連線的中點處。
特點
交會穴，通陽蹻脈。

是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
股外側皮神經，旋髂淺動、靜脈分支，旋股外側動、靜脈升支。
適應症
闌尾 炎，胃痛，下腹痛；睾丸炎，腎炎，膀胱炎；月經不調，子宮內膜炎，白帶多；腰痛，腿痛，髖關節及周圍軟組織諸疾患等。
