LOCATION
With the patient lying on the side with the upper hip and knee bent, the point is at the junction of lateral 1/3 and medial 2/3 of the line linking the prominence of greater trochanter and the sacro-coccygeal hiatus.
Features
Meeting point of Gallbladder and Bladder Meridians. Major point for sciatica.
Body Inches (cun)
Each person has his/her own personal body inches.
One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.
Nerves, vascular
Gluteal epithelial nerve. Sciatic nerve, hypogluteal nerve, posterior femoral cutaneous nerve, and subgluteal arteries and veins.
Indication
Rubella，dermatophytosis，sciatica，paralysis of the lower limbs，lumbosacral pain，hip joint and soft tissue disorders. Sciatica, pain, numbness, atrophy of lower back, hip, buttocks a/or lower limbs. Bi (painful obstruction) or Wei (flaccidity, weakness) of the leg. Urticaria, red, itchy skin issues from wind.

臀上皮神經。坐骨神經，臀下神經，股後皮神經和臀下動、靜脈等。
適應症
膀胱經是人體最大的排毒通道，敲打環跳穴位有助通暢身體的下水道，將那些引起高血脂、水腫、靜脈曲張的毒素排出。敲打時的姿勢應該是側臥屈股。
風疹，腳氣，坐骨神經痛、下肢癱瘓、腰骶髖
關節及周圍軟組織疾患等。
