Nerves, vascular
The lateral dorsal cutaneous nerve of the foot, the lateral plantar nerve, and the lateral plantar artery and vein.
Indication
Meningitis，stroke，epilepsy，children convulsions，headache；myocarditis，rickets，malaria. Has a relationship to the Heart and Spirit, good distal point for palpitations, chest pain, irritability, mental confusion.
Combinations
Headache，stiff neck：BL 64 & GB 20 & BL 10.
Opacity of the cornea：SI 02 & BL 64.
Myocarditis：EX-UE25 & PC 06 & HT 05 & HT 08 & BL 64.
Heartache and backache：BL 60 & BL 64.
Stubborn skin, can’t feel itching, cold, hot, pain：GB 39 & LR 04 & BL 64.
Cold feet：BL 23 & KI 02 & BL 64.
穴位
在足外側，第5蹠骨粗隆下方，赤白肉際處。
特點
原穴。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
足背外側皮神經，足底外側神經，並有足底外側動、靜脈。
適應症
腦膜炎，腦溢血，癲癇，小兒驚風，頭痛；心肌炎，佝僂病，瘧疾等。
