LOCATION
On the dorsal aspect of the forearm, 3 cun above the transverse crease of the the dorsum of the wrist, on the connecting Yangchi(TE4) and the tip of the elbow between the ulna and radius.
Features
Jing/River Point. TE6 and TE5 are the only points on the three arm yang Meridians indicated for constipation.
Body Inches (cun)
Each person has his/her own personal body inches.
One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.

Indication
Sudden loss of voice，pharyngeal swelling，deafnesstinnitus，eye rednessseyes pain；habitual constipation，vomitdiarrhea；amenorrhoea，postpartum unconscious，postpartum insufficient lactation；upper limb paralysis，shoulder and back soft tissue injury，acute lumbar sprain；intercostal nerve pain，pleurisy，pneumonia，anginapectoris，myocarditis，acute hyoid muscle paralysis；hypochondrium pain，habitual constipation. Effects the Triple Warmer in the following ways: Lower: Constipation GVe to stagnation and heat in the body. Middle: Issues with the chest & hypochondrium, often used with GB 34 for chest & rib pain, also “sudden turmoil disorder” (vomiting & diarrhea). Upper: Febrile diseases with no sweating, eye redness & pain, ear pain, inflammation.

Vomit：ST 25 & TE 06.
Heartache (pricking)：TE 06 & KI 03 & KI 02.
Hypochondrium pain a.：TE 06 & LR 13.
Hypochondrium pain b.：TE 06 [left (exhale) right; right (exhale) left & BL 40.
Intercostal nerve pain：TE 06 & GB 34.
Insufficient lactation：CV 17 & ST 18 & TE 06 & ST 36.
Tremor of fingers：TE 06 & TE 04 & EX-UE9.

穴位
在前臂背側，當陽池與肘尖的連線上，腕背橫紋上3寸，尺骨與橈骨之間。
特點
經（火）穴。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
前臂背側皮神經，橈神經之前臂骨間背側神經、正中神經之骨間掌側神經，前臂骨間背側動脈，前臂骨間掌側動脈。
適應症
暴喑，咽腫，耳聾耳鳴，目赤目痛；習慣性便秘，嘔吐泄瀉；經閉，產後血暈不醒人事，產後乳汁分泌不足；上肢麻痺癱瘓，肩背部軟組織損傷，急性腰扭傷；肋間神經痛，胸膜炎，肺炎，心絞痛，心肌炎，急性舌骨肌麻痺； 麻醉針常用穴之一。多用於治療脅痛，習慣性便秘等。
