At the highest point of the dorsum of foot, between the tendons of medial extensor hallucis longus and digitorum longus, where the dorsal artery of foot pulsates.

Nerves, vascular
The superficial peroneal nerve is the dorsal medial cutaneous nerve of the foot, the deep layer is the deep peroneal nerve, and there are dorsal foot arteries, veins and dorsal foot vein branches.
Indication
facial paralysis，vertigo，dizziness，fainting；gastrospasm，gestritis；rheumatoid arthritis ，foot sprain；toothache。Issues on the upper end of the channel (i.e. mouth/face/head) – upper mouth/teeth issues, toothache, deviation of the face as in bell’s palsy or stroke. Local point for foot pain – pain, swelling, redness – also motor control issues of the foot.
