Nerves, vascular
There are branches of the ninth Intercostal nerve, the ninth intercostal arteries and veins, and the inferior abdominal arteries and veins.
Indication
Epilepsy，psychiatry；uterus meningitis，irregular menstruation；glossitis，adenitis definition，chronic gastroenteritis. Epigastric pain, vomiting (rebellious qi). Similar effects as ST 23 on phlegm related shen issues – manic depression, anxiety, mania. Used with ST 23 for manic depression with stiff/thrusting tongue.

Stomach pain a. ：ST 24 & ST 36.
Stomach pain b. ：ST 24 & CV 12 & ST 36.
Protruding tongue：ST 24 & HT 03 & LI 07.
