6 cun lateral to the anterior midline,
below the clavicle in a depression medial to the coracoid process.
Features
In term Yunmen, Yun refers to Lung qi.
So this point is loacted on the upper part of
chest which serves as a door for lung Qi.
Body Inches (cun)
Each person has his/her own personal body inches.
One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.
Nerves, vascular
Supraclavicular nerves，anterior thoracic ganglion，Brachial plexus lateral beam
Cephalic vein，Chest, shoulder artery and vein，axillary artery and vein.
Indication
Cough ,wheezing, orthopnoea, asthma, shortness of breathe,
Tightness of chest, chest pain,
Sore throat
Shoulder pain, stiffness
Combinations
Chest pain：LU 02 & LU 01 & SP 01 & LR 14 & BL 13 & BL 47 & PC 07.
Shoulder pain：LU 02 & SI 12.
穴位
胸前壁外上方，肩胛骨喙突上方，鎖骨下窩（胸大肌與三角肌之間）凹陷處。
距前正中線（璇璣）6寸，當鎖骨外1/3折點下方一橫指，中府上1寸。
特點
《素問‧陰陽應像大論》雲出天氣，天氣通於肺。雲門，雲指肺氣，為肺氣之門。
同身寸
針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。
穴區神經血管
淺層為鎖骨上神經中、後支及胸前神經分支；深層為臂叢外側束，下後方為臂叢後束和內側束。
頭靜脈及胸肩峰動、靜脈；下方為腋動脈（鎖骨下動脈的延續），
斜向下外通過；腋動脈內側為腋靜脈，並有血管穿過筋膜平面所形成的孔隙。
適應症
咳嗽、喘息、嘔逆、胸中煩滿、氣上衝心、胸痛徹背、暴心腹痛、
喉痹、癭氣、肩引缺盆痛、肩痛不可舉、四肢熱不已、上肢麻木、脈代不至寸口。
支氣管炎、胸肌風濕痛、肩關節周圍炎。
穴位配伍療法
胸中痛：1.雲門 2.中府 3.隱白 4.期門 5.肺俞 6.魂門 7.大陵
肩痛不能舉：1.雲門 2.秉風
