4 cun lateral to the anterior midline, in the 7th intercostal space, directly below the nipple.

Crossing Point of GB and SP Meridians.
Body Inches (cun)
Each person has his/her own personal body inches.
One cun is equal to the width of the Knuckle of the thumb.
Nerves, vascular
The seventh intercostal nerve and the seventh intercostal artery and vein.
Indication
Vomit，bitter taste and belch，depression，limbs paralysis or weakness，jaundice，cholecystitis，cholelithiasis，hepatitis，intercostal nerve pain，hiccup. LR & GB issues, especially involving heat and stagnation – gallstones, hepatitis, jaundice. LR/GB attacking the SP – nausea, vomiting, sour belching, bitter taste, acid reflux. GB related emotional imbalances – fearfullness, shyness, indecisiveness, timidity, sighing. The Ling Shu indicates GB 24 (GB Front Mu) & BL 19 (GB Back Shu) for frequent indecisiveness.
Combinations
Abdominal heat, dry heat, sigh: GB 24 & SP 15.
Bitter taste in mouth：GB 24 & BL 19.
穴位
在上腹部，當乳頭直下，第七肋間隙，前正中線旁開4寸。
特點
膽之募穴， 交會穴，通足太陰。

針灸取穴比量法。出自《千金要方》。
是指以患者本人體表的某些部位折定分寸，
作为量取穴位的長度單位。

第七肋間神經和第七肋間動、靜脈。
適應症
嘔吐宿汁，吞酸，氣上溢而口為之苦，善太息，善悲，少腹有熱，多唾，言語不正，四肢不收， 黃疸，膽囊炎，膽石症，肝炎，肋間神經痛，呃逆。
