My Rhomboid Myofascial
My Rhomboid Myofascial
Acu Notes by Sunnyfish 20200501
Let me tell you a story which was happened in the winter two years ago when I was editing my films of acupressure. My left side on my upper back was getting sore during the work. At the beginning, the soreness was only happened occasionally, but it turned into sharp pain. It made me very annoyed because of I couldn’t reach out by myself. Fortunately, my daughter bought a hook-shaped of the massager for me. I finally could press my back with the tool right away for a few minutes until the pain was gone and then got back to my editing. This kind of situation lasted for about three months. I feel I was so lucky to found that if I pressed the acupoints, my pain could be degraded. Therefore, I use this hook as my “pain killer” and take it wherever I go.
.
One day on the way of my trip, I sit on my seat about six hours. So I got the chance to spend the entire time holding my treasure, the hook, to press on my bladder meridian started from BL42. I pointed it with the hook firmly and deeply. Then I silently count “1,2,3”, then I released my pressure. Once again I pressured it then count to 3. At the third time I count “1,2,3…to “9”, then I released my pressure. It’s one set for the one acupoint. And then I removed the hook down to the next acupoint BL43. Meanwhile, I concentrated on my breath and relaxed my body when I put the pressure on my pain spot.
.
When I finished the acupressure for the most bothering two points. I extended the area along bladder meridian from my treatment because I have tons of time to do so. I pressed from my shoulder, back to my waist, and also from the left side to the right side. As long as I encountered a sour spot I pressured it repeatedly. Gradually, the number of the sour/pain spots was decreased. At the end of the trip there was no pain spot left.

After I returning home, my back pain had disappeared. I expected it might happen again very soon as usual but two weeks passed away, two months passed away, even two years have passed, my BL42 and BL43 were as fine as if they never suffered.
